Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Which states are your therapists licensed to practice in?

A: Our therapists are licensed to provide therapy services in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Florida. Please note that we are continuously expanding our reach, so if your state is not listed, we recommend that you check back frequently or get in touch with us for updates. Our goal is to make our invaluable therapy services accessible to as many families and individuals as possible.

Q: Are the therapy sessions conducted virtually or in person?

A: Currently, we offer both virtual and in-person therapy services. Virtual sessions are conducted through a secure online platform, ensuring privacy and convenience for our clients. Additionally, we offer in-person sessions in our Irvington, NY office. Please contact us for more details on the availability and scheduling of each type of session.

Q: Are virtual therapy sessions beneficial for children and teenagers?

A: Absolutely. In fact, many children and teens adapt exceptionally well to the virtual format because they are typically comfortable with technology. Our experienced therapists are skilled in creating an engaging and interactive online environment that effectively captures the attention of younger and teen clients. We use a variety of online tools and techniques that resonate with different age groups, fostering effective communication and ensuring that they receive the full benefit of the therapy sessions. However, each individual is different and we highly recommend discussing your child's needs with our professionals to determine the most suitable session format.
